What happens if blood splashes ?
Blood will flow in the fluid collectors, as the material is hydrophobic. If it persists, the surgeon can easily wipe the blood off the enclosure. As you can see, the surgeons and medical personnel will not be exposed to patient bodily fluids.
Is it compatible with surgical lighting ?
Once inflated, glare is drastically reduced. When using surgical lighting, ensure that the lighting is not too high vis-a-vis the SurgiBubble.
What about suturing ?
Usability tests have been performed with more than 50 surgeons around the world, movement of arms inside the bubble was not an issue.
